Slowdown in global OTC derivatives
THE Bank for International Settlements (BIS) has said the global over-the-counter(OTC) derivatives market suffered slowdown in the second half of 2000 with the total estimated notional amount of outstanding OTC contracts having stood at $95.2 trillion at end-December 2000.
