M. M. Vaish passes away

PUNE, May 29

MR. M. M. Vaish, Chairman and Managing Director of Bank of Maharashtra, passed away in Pune early today morning following a heart attack. He was 58.

Mr. Vaish started his career as a probationary officer with State Bank of Indore in 1966. He joined Bank of Maharashtra as Chairman and Managing Director 1998. He is survived by his wife, two sons and a daughter.
