THE Haridwar unit of Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd (BHEL) has registered a turnover of Rs. 947 crores and a profit in excess of Rs. 100 crores for the financial year 1999-2000, according to an official release. The Haridwar unit received orders worth Rs. 1,000 crores during the year.
