Cocoa prices: Still, a soft bite
AFTER being on a secular downtrend for nearly six months, world cocoa prices have recently shown marginal signs of recovery. Cocoa futures for the nearest May contract on the Coffee, Sugar and Cocoa Exchange (New York), recently moved past the $ 900 per tonne mark, a level not breached since October 1999.
